I'm never bored with sports for an extended period of time. Of course we have the Superbowl next weekend, then a month of hockey/NCAAB/NBA/draft hype will get me through February..Then March Madness, and the draft in April, all with spring training and a lot of NFL off-season activity. Then the MLB regular season starts, and through the dog days of summer we crown an NBA champ and the MLB season gains steam. I'm a big off-season guy, I like seeing GMs build their rosters through free agency and the draft for the upcoming season, so the NFL off-season actually excites me in a lot of ways. That on top of the fact that I like baseball just as much as football, and I'm set.

I don't see how you guys like football better than the NBA. NFL = 13 minutes of play. NBA = 46 minutes. A typical NFL score = 23-17. NBA = 101-99 (game winning 3 pointer with .5 seconds left).

NFL is more strategic IMO. Less relying on individuals and more of a team effort. The whole week to prepare and kind of set dates for games really makes the big difference for me in sports. If I never know when a team is playing its kind of hard for me to keep up with them but with the NFL I always know its either sunday or monday and with the NCAA I know its saturday or thursday (or wednesday and saturday/ sunday and thursday for hoops). Usually the leagues with too many games dont spark my interest as much. I can't watch 150 games per year.. I can definitely watch 13, 17, and 35ish though with the set dates.
I'll get by. Im a huge knicks fan but the MLB season and the College b-ball tourney is around the corner. i do agree that the season went by too fast though.

NHL. Hockey is so fun to watch. Although I'd rather watch football, hockey is play play play, quick short break, play play play. Football is more, 10-30 second play, wait a minute, 10-30 second play, wait a minute.
