Last year when Jones went down to his injury they split the carries with Arlen Harris and Aveion Cason and Calhoun only saw 7 touches all season. Not to mention Mike Martz already got himself into trouble when he said that bringing Marshall Faulk aboard was a possibility (While he was under contract with STL).

Yeah, Calhoun will have an expanded role which will limit the talent (and price) of whoever they bring in. I wouldn't be surprised if they re-opened the door for Artose Pinner. Not the sexiest signing, but he won himself this type of role with that one big game he had in Minnesota. Pinner, Bryson and Calhoun would then all hold down the fort until Jones is able to return. That's more than enough in Martz's pass-heavy offense.
