<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Although a deal isn't yet near, the San Francisco 49ers have begun negotiations aimed at accommodating the wishes of star defensive tackle Bryant Young to play at least one more season, and to finish his career with the only team for which he has ever worked.Young, 35, is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on March 2, and the 13-year veteran and four-time Pro Bowl performer wants to play again in 2007, as long as it's with the 49ers.One of the NFL's premier defensive tackles during his tenure in the league, and also one of its classiest performers, Young is clearly nearing the end of a celebrated career. But he demonstrated in 2006, when his playing time was purposely reduced in an effort to maximize his production, that he can still be an effective defender.</div>For more - http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2762284
let him come back, its not gonna hurt anyoneIt'll just give the 49ers more talent up the middle and give them another year to find a replacement
The 49ers want him to come back, its just up to him. And Im happy he's gonna be back for the 07 season and hopefully 08
This man is probally one of the most underrated players in the NFL today. He has been the face of a struggling franchise lately (with exception of last year) so the Niners would be stupid to let him go. PLUS he can still play.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Niners, DE Young agree to one-year contractBy John ClaytonESPN.comDefensive end Bryant Young has worked out a deal to stay with the San Francisco 49ers for at least another season. After voiding the final years of his contract because of playing time incentives, Young worked out a contract agreement that it is believed to be for one-year. Though terms of the contract were unavailable, Young is probably going to make around the $4.25 million he was scheduled to make had the contract not voided. The 49ers didn't want to lose Young to free agency. He is a valuable leader on the team. His work ethic is a model of what Mike Nolan wants from all of his players. Because the 49ers would like to bring in as many as seven new starters on defense, Young is the leader Nolan wants to show them the right way to do things as a 49er. This will be Young's 14th season with the 49ers. Despite the age, he doesn't seem to be slowing down too much at the age of 35.</div> :beerbang2:
