Semicolons

Am I the only to use them? Sure seems like it; I never see anyone else use them.How random??

 

I use them when I'm writing something large, but ordinarily I don't.

If I'm writing a paper like back when I was in school, I would. But just writing on the forums, I don't care enough to. :whistling:

 

No need to on forums. A paper is a different story.

 

Every now and then when I don't think a period or a comma belong, I use a semi colon.

 

Only for papers

 

I don't think about it. It just comes naturally like a comma because I use them so much.

 

Just thought I'd let you know. I don't think I've ever seen you use one before (aside from this thread). Given I don't just stare at your posts or anything and look for them.

Yes it is.^ That's a sentence.^ So is that.It's just very short

 

"rpobably no one" has no verb - therefore --> no sentence

 

Probably no one cares*
