<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Ramsey, who failed to mount much of a challenge to Chad Pennington for the starting job in training camp, is due to receive a $1.4 million roster bonus by Saturday. The Jets, who believe that is too much money for a backup, are trying to trade Ramsey in an attempt to recoup the sixth-round draft pick he cost them a year ago. If they can't move him in a trade, they're expected to cut him before having to pay the bonus.Defensive end Kimo von Oelhoffen, the Jets' most expensive free-agent addition from last year, also is in serious jeopardy of being released if he doesn't take a pay cut. He's due a $600,000 roster bonus by Friday. The Jets overpaid for von Oelhoffen, 36, giving the ex-Steeler a $3.2 million signing bonus. He was a major disappointment as a full-time starter, managing only 28 tackles and one sack in 16 games.Ramsey served as the No. 2 quarterback in 15 games, attempting only one pass in the regular season. From the outset, he didn't seem comfortable in Brian Schottenheimer's demanding no-huddle offense. This year, the Jets are banking on second-year quarterback Kellen Clemens to serve as Pennington's primary backup. But, with only two quarterbacks on the roster, they might look to acquire a veteran as insurance. The free-agent quarterback pool will include Kerry Collins (Titans) and Tim Rattay (Bucs). Joey Harrington (Dolphins) is likely to be released.</div>

He was the biggest DE at the combine, and he was not only stronger than just about everyone else, but faster too. Landing him would be a windfall. Ideal draft would be something like Carriker-Leonard-D. Irons (or whatever CB Mangini thinks is best).

Chris Houston would be nice too, but I think he rose his stock out of our reach. I think the Jets are going to be looking at someone more like Harrell, Mebane, or McDonald at our Second-Second rounder. The first 2 picks of like Blalock and Leonard sounds nice though.
Greg Olsen in the first round (or early second pick)?? Baker isn ice, but a playmaking tight end would be swiz-neet

It's kinda funny how badly Campbell is being overrated. He's looked average-at-best in his limited time so far. I'm not saying he won't be great, but as of right now he's not.
