Re: NFL Combine Results: RB's 10 yard speed This is important, because it shows who is QUICK. Some players run a great 40, but are slow starters. NFL Scouts agree that while the 40 is more important for a WR, the 10 is more important for a RB. This is where a couple hundreths of a second make the difference between hitting the hole, and missing a running lane. The 10 yard is important because it's how quickly the RB can go from getting the ball behind the line of scrimmage to reaching the LB's. It's how quickly a RB can run away from defenders after making a move. Of the RB's who ran at the Combine, here are the top performers:1. Lorenzo Booker 1.462. DeShawn Wynn 1.473. Kenny Irons 1.504. Antonio Pittman 1.525. Marshawn Lynch 1.535. Eldra Buckley 1.535. Kolby Smith 1.538. Brian Leonard 1.548. Alonzo Coleman 1.548. Brandon Jackson 1.548. Adrian Peterson 1.548. Darius Walker 1.5413. Jon Cornish 1.5514. Chris Henry 1.5614. Ramonce Taylor 1.5616. Ahmad Bradshaw 1.5916. Tyrone Moss 1.5918. Thomas Clayton 1.6218. Jason Snelling 1.6218. Dwayne Wright 1.6221. Nate Ilaoa 1.6322. Gary Russell 1.6522. Kenneth Darby 1.65

I love to see Brian Leonard up there though, the guy is quick for a big man.
