Not bad </div>Lelie isn't terrible based on the risk/reward involved. If he somehow revives his DEN form he'd be a steal, if not no biggie.Canta-Play, well, a bit expensive for a backup. On Banta "I think I killed Pennington" Cain will probably get alot of playin time and has a good chance to start with our mediocre LB corps (Only due to Derek Smith and sometimes Ulbrich).

That is why this offseason they're gonna work him hard to improve his run-defense and once they do he's gonna be worth more than $3 million a year.

What difference will Mike Nolan make that Bill Belicheck already didn't, keep in mind this guy is tapping out on the potential meter already for being a 7th Round Pick. Not to mention teams should be spending on what a player has done, and not what a player will be. Because when spending money on potential that may or may not pan out more often then not backfires. See Justin McCareins.</div>Forget what round he was drafted in, with so many GREAT players who were drafted very late it doesnt really matter. Im guessin Bill didnt since Tully is horrible at it (Although I've never seen him play). The 49ers should shell out contracts in which way they please, it's worked well for them so far. Pretty sure Nolan really expects Banta-Cain to push hard for the startin spot for strong-side OLB.
