Archuleta isn't worth a First Day pick based on the year he's coming off of and his contract status. I never thought he was all that great to begin with, but at least now he's in the same Cover 2 system he was was in St. Louis.
He was a 1st round pick for a reason. The dude is extremely good playing close to the box. Mike Brown will probably lose his starting job, because the future pro bowl safety will have an amazing year in Chicago.I was hoping we'd get at least a 4th or 3rd rounder (not 2nd because of his contract).

If anybody does, it'd probably be Daniel Manning. But more likely Archuleta can provide decent depth when Mike Brown goes down to injury.

Archuleta can put up pro bowl numbers in Chicago Washington was a horrible system and the Bears have a perfect system for arch. Lovie knows how to use him. He isn't a cover safety, hes basically a small, quick LB that is placed at safety. Lovie will use him more towards the line of scrimmage and blitz him more. Mike Brown will stay at starting FS, Arch will be starting SS. Great tradeScrew the Skins, They dont deserve anything in return the way they treated arch.Bears to superbowl XLII

Archuleta never even made the Pro Bowl in St. Louis and has never put up 'Pro-Bowl Numbers', so what makes you think that he's going become something he never was to begin with. I agree that Arch is better suited for Lovie's defense then Washington's, but cmon man.
Sorry, I accidentally typed st louis in the first line instead of chicago. I admit, I may be a little bias, but he still has a ton of potential. I think This will be his best season of his career. He may not make the pro bowl this season, but i think he'll at least have one before his career is over. half the defense goes practically

Isn't Mike Brown still playing for the Bears? Adam will make an above average injury replacement for him this season.... :whistling:

Cmon, be realistic.
