<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>David Carr-QB- Texans Mar. 21 - 7:07 pm et NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports the Texans have shopped David Carr, found no takers, and may be forced to cut the former No. 1 pick.At the Senior Bowl, Houston was believed to be in search of a conditional third-round pick that could escalate to a second-rounder. Minnesota, Detroit, and Cleveland are called possible suitors if Carr is cut outright, a move that would cost the Texans $2 million in cap space.Related: Browns, Lions, Vikings David Carr-QB- Texans Mar. 21 - 8:38 pm et A "source" told the Palm Beach Post that the Texans might consider trading David Carr for a fourth- or fifth-round pick.Teams know Houston will rid itself of Carr after the Texans acquired Matt Schaub, so they'll likely have to lower their asking price considerably.</div>

He deserves to start wherever he goes. I'll wear my Carr Texan jersey with pride!

He does, but he probably will end up getting a backup QB job somewhere instead. [IMG]

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (xpostxscript @ Mar 22 2007, 05:52 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Raiders should get him.</div>I was thinking that too. But it'd be like the same situation as in Houston. He'd have a sick WR to throw to (Calvin Johnson.. cause they'd probably draft him #1), but would get sacked a lot. But if the line could magically block, the Raiders would have a playoff chance (already got the D.. have two talented RBs, some other talent on offense.. Carr would just add to that).

I was thinking a team like Minnesota or Miami where he could probably step in and win the job almost right away. A team like Oakland or Cleveland he'd probably be a sitting duck who would be on the hot seat the entire time because either theres a Hotshot Rookie QB behind them, or they passed up the Hotshot Rookie QB for them.

Who has a starting position open immediately? Oakland and Cleveland.... maybe KC and/or Miami....The choices are slim. I say he goes to Green Bay, and backs up Favre for a couple years until retirement,; allowing the Packers to trade Rodgers to the Raiders for Randy Moss.

I dont know if it says anywhere here, Carr was cut today"The Vikings informed the agent for David Carr that they aren't interested in the former Texan quarterback.Kicking a man when's down. Minnesota says they are set on Tarvaris Jackson and Brooks Bollinger competing for the starting job, although Brady Quinn remains a possibility. Oakland and Miami seem to be the two best spots for Carr."he aint going to GB, I think oakland is his best option, allowing the raiders to select johnson. Miami is going hard after trent green and culpepper may be cut so they still are in the mix as well i guess

Chicago should be interested. I doubt they will be because of the mancrush Lovie Smith seems to have on Rex Grossman. But David Carr would be a stud on that team IMO as he'd finally have a Defense worth a damn and an Offensive Line to protect him. I really don't think Oakland is an option for Carr because the reason Jeff Garcia didn't sign with them was because they wouldn't promise to not draft a QB, and if they wouldn't make such an agreement with Garcia, I can't see why they would with Carr as they've given all reason to think they're just infatuated with JaMarcus Russell. Not to mention I can't see why Carr would want to go there considering it'd just be more of the same as Houston getting mugged every play because they can't protect him.
