He made his first start in a victory at Cleveland in Week 15 before losing the next week to Seattle.
It's for Back-up purposes. Aside from Vick, we have no Vets at QB. And I'd trust Rattay more then Shockley in an in-game situation.
I don't even know why Vick "needs" a veteran quarterback... Jesus Christ, Vick, you're a six-year vet. You should ALREADY know the style of this game... but then again, he's in yet ANOTHER NEW SYSTEM......has Rattay played under Petrino's system before?
Better option then Redman for sure. At least if something happens to Vick....ehh screw it, Falcons aren't winning shit if they have to get to Tim Rattay.
