NL: FLORIDA (41-46) at LA DODGERS (48-39) <h3>Mitre takes mound as Marlins look for third straight win</h3> <div class="pre">Florida (40-46) at La Dodgers (48-38) 10:10 pm EDT</div> LOS ANGELES (Ticker) - Sergio Mitre takes the mound for theFlorida Marlins as they continue their three-game series withthe Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday. Mitre (2-4, 2.80 ERA) will need some help from his teammates ifthe Marlins are going to run their winning streak to threegames. The Marlins have scored three runs or less in 11 of therighthander's 14 starts, which is a big reason Mitre is 0-2 inhis last seven outings. Mitre hopes Hanley Ramirez can continue his hot streak and helpsecure his first win since May 20. On Friday Ramirez hit two home runs and drove in the go-aheadrun with a safety squeeze in the 10th inning to lead the Marlinsto a 6-5 win. Florida, which won for just the fourth time in its last 24 triesin Los Angeles, has won four of six overall. As for the Dodgers, Derek Lowe takes the hill in hopes ofpreventing the team's first four-game skid since May 18-21. Lowe(8-7, 2.98) is winless in his last two outings despite allowingjust one run each time. Last Saturday the sinkerballer yieldedone run and eight hits in five innings in a 8-2 loss to Atlanta.
