<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Giants will sign LB Kawika Mitchell to a one-year, $1 million contract.Mitchell is young (27), big (253 pounds), athletic, and has racked up over 100 tackles the past two seasons. It appears he'll use this year in New York to show he can play outside and reenter the free agent market in 2008 with versatility on his resume. The Giants could be getting a steal if Mitchell, a middle linebacker in Kansas City, excels on the strong side.Source: Newark Star-Ledger</div>http://rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/p...NFL&id=1380

Mitchell is good and underrated, but they need OLBs, not MLBs.

Good value signing at 1 million for 1 year. They still need another OLB though.

I know this is late...but the Giants moving Kawika would be a great move. He is naturally athletic, played OLB in college, and is already a pretty damn good player. He struggled to adjust to MLB for a couple of years, but in '06 he was a playmaker. I think he will fit in pretty good in NY.
