Jets with 0! Yay! They pretty much could've had a Round Jets last year with all of the compensation picks they got.As for the Rams... two seventh rounders? Sweet?

PS: Plus it's a 5th and a 6th, not 2 5th's.

[/quote]I don't understand how they work? I thought they are compensation for losing someone in FA, that compensation being the signing team gives up a draft pick, like they do in baseball. Simply adding picks to the draft does not seem like compensation to me. They are just adding a pick to the draft

The team just gets ompensated with extra picks in return for losing a FA, but no team has to give them up.

Vilma, when I was looking back to see if there was a topic like this to see if I could find out how many the Jets had, I saw your mock draft from last year. You were 4 for 32 (you got both of the Jets picks, the Raiders pick, and Colts pick right). Nice!

It had to be more than that.</div>Thats it, the only compensation pick we got last year was 3rd Round - #97 Overall from losing Lamont Jordan where the Jets selected Eric Smith. The Jets weren't eligible for any more compensation picks (For Kareem McKenzie, ect.) because the bum Terry Bradway had signed some useless players that made us ineligible for more compensation picks. You might be a bit confused because of the Jets trading John Abraham for a 1st rounder which I guess in some ways is compensating the Jets for the loss of him, but it wasn't technically a Compensation Pick.
