Zambrano and Towers are battling for the 5th.1. Halladay2. Burnett3. Chacin4. Ohka5. Zambrano/Towers.That's how it looks right now.And I highly doubt the Jays will fight for ".500" we had a better record then the Bo Sox last year and the addition of Frank Thomas will just add to already statisticly the best hitting team in the MLB.As for Baltimore, some writer I forgot from where had the Orioles finishing 3rd and the Jays coming 4th and the Rays 5th.My surprize team this year are the Brewers....hopefully My #2 team in Arizona can also surprize.

I highly suggest all of you learn the art of baseball, and compare rosters. And even listen to the So-Called Experts.</div>The Devil Rays have a rediculous amount of young talent on their roster, especially the Offense. With the amount of young talent they have on their Offense, if they can even put togeather average pitching, I could very well see them going .500 or better. They're my suprise team going into this year.As for Toronto, they have the makings of a good team as well, I just tend to think that the Yankees and Red Sox are going to be the class of that division, and that Toronto and Tampa Bay will be scrapping it out for 3rd place hovering around .500 for most of the season. And Baltimore well....good luck.</div>My biggest issue with the D-Rays is the fact that they have a bunch of would-be minor leaguers for their rotation (after Kazmir who is a good but not great number 1). If those 4 guys played for the Redsox, Blue Jays, or Yankees maybe one of them would even be on the opening day roster.

Their the only team in the NL that can be considered an AL lineup. The pitching is being blown over dramatically. Besides the dodgers and phillies, everyone in the NL has questions in their pitching rotation. The mets have young guns like Maine/Pelfrey/Oliver who can step up at any moment. They also have a motivated vet in the beginning of the rotation. Theyre also going to get a boost when Pedro comes back midseason. The Mets are primed for the playoffs like last year. They're not the yankees who have to sign any pitcher that becomes a FA.</div>As an honest observer of the game, if I had a choice of who to play between the Phillies and the Mets, I'd choose the Mets. I don't think the Mets will win their division, which means they'll need the Wildcard. And I really like the Padres for the Wildcard. I'm not saying the Mets will be horrible. But the Phillies will be better, and the Padres have a NICE rotation (for an NL team) and a much easier road to victory than the Mets.

I don't think the Mets will win their division, which means they'll need the Wildcard.</div>Personally I think the Phillies are overrated, although I'm sure I'll just get labeled as a Homer for saying so. - They pretty much have 3 Great Starters in Howard, Utley, and Rollins. And the rest of their team is average or below average in Barajas, Helms, Roward, Victorino, and Burrell. Ryan Howard has absolutely no protection in that lineup, and much like September last year where Howard was walked 35 times, he will be lucky if he gets a quality pitch to hit next season.- Their 'big offseason' included getting 2 pitchers who had higher then a 4.5 ERA last season with High Home Run Rates, going to the biggest hitting stadium in the league where Pop Flys become Home Runs. Disaster in the making? I think so. As for the pitchers they already have. Jaime Moyer is 44 years old, and Cole Hamels pitched 80 more Innings then his previous professional high, which makes him a posterboy for the Year-After Effect.- Their Bullpen is terrible, Tom Gordon is 39 and sucked over the second half last season, and they don't have any decent set-up men to get the games to him.- Most importantly, they lost the Division last season by 12 games. What have they done to get 12 Games Better then they were last season? Nevermind the fact that the Mets have gotten better themselves in the same time span.

Baseball Tonight is a baseball show on ESPN. It's like NFL Live and NBA Shootaround.

Actually picking the Phillies to make the playoffs is valid. The last 2 years, they had better records than playoff teams in the NL. MLB's playoff seedings are a joke.

Sox have a lineup that has just about nothing besides Ortiz/Ramirez. Pen is bad besides of Papelbon (who i think is amazing), and the starting pitching depends on a pitcher who never transitioned to AL (Beckett) and a Japanese import that has the most pressure on him of any player from Japan. EVER. We have seen nothing agaisnt major league hitters (ST doesnt count, fucking AA players play). BoSox will beat out BJs and Twins for WC BARELY.
