Yeah they're protesting at the funerals for the victims here too. Those people are horrible excuses for human beings. Reading the article they contradict themselves.</div>"All those people" is a bit of a stretch, in a country this size you'll have crazy people wanting their crazy voices to be heard, but it's not even thousands, in fact I doubt if it's even hundreds.

And even in Baghdad, when a bombing kills 15 people or soldiers, it's all over the news. Let alone 32 from a shooting inside our country. It's sure not a big deal.......

Bagdhad is still war-tainted. It means that the country has experienced too many bloodshed on its soil. Thus the term "war-tainted".

I'm just saying that we do have the right to make this a big deal, because you said that you didn't know why Americans were making a big deal out of this massacre.

He was talking about civilians being killed by other citizens in Baghdad, not soldiers.

For violent non-military involved deaths last year in Iraq, the total was 22,095. That's 60.5 per day of civilian on civilian deaths. In an area roughly the size (and less the population) of California.

You said you didn't know why we were making a big deal out of this.I probably misunderstood you...I was just defending my case that Americans have the right to make a big deal out of this due to the action being done WITHIN the country's walls instead of outside of it.

Things like this, 32 civilians killed, happen at schools, coffee shops, homes, markets, and office buildings on a day to day basis. Imagine a shooting like Va. Tech happening every day, not in the entire country, but in a 2 state area and you'll reach what the civilians or Iraq are going through. You're talking about this happening every day in a state the size of Florida. For this to be such a big deal, we are lucky.</div>
