Mark Buehrle Throws No Hitter

    Good for him, congradulations I guess. John Maine also took a No-Hit bid into the 7th Inning today before losing it. That would had been crazy if they had 2 No-Hitters on the same day.

    There have been almost 400 in the history of the MLB. So it's not completely rare as an average of 3 and a half happen every season.Still impressive though.

    It's not impressive!! HAIRSTON WAS SAFE!!! I hate Mark Buerhle. He probably used a scoreboard to steal signs. :whistling:

And JV, it's more impressive nowadays in today's game then it was back then, I think there's only been 3 No Hitters in the last 4 years or so, and over the past decade the average is probably closer to maybe One a year.

It's cool, you hit a hole in one and that helped you do better. But in the end I'll put my money on the big boys like Tiger to win it. And what would you rather have? A guy who throws a no hitter and wins 13 games, or a guy with a 3.20 ERA who wins 17 games? I'll take the 17 games."
