The playoff seeding for the playoffs sucks ass. They need to change it. Keep the divisions and all fine. But, the top 8 teams from each conference should make the playoffs. Winning the division shouldn't matter. They should be ordered based only on record. And if there is a division where a team doesn't get in, so be it. Let them raise a banner and sell hats and shirts, but simply winning a division should not guarantee a top 4 seed, and it certainly should not guarantee a trip to the playoffs.

The only thing that should change is that over half the teams in the NBA make the post season. Why not expand it. 24 teams go to the post season, 6 teams enter the lottery.
Lmao, it's honestly fine how it is right now. I don't know why it should be changed to how many teams get in. Its always gonna be 8 from each East and West. The only thing that could be changed is the way the seeding is set up.

Kinda makes the whole regular season meaningless.

The NBA has a balanced schedule in each conference, so teams can't be bitching about uneven competition. It's just dumb that you get in b/c you win your division. And no, I am not bitching b/c of what happened to the Bulls. I am actually glad we get a chance to play the Heat. I hate them more than any other team aside from the Pistons. We get a chance to take out Posey right away
