I had to say it. After the way we played today, I am really pissed. We score 9 runs and we lose. Anytime we pitch good, we can't hit. Anytime we hit, we pitch bad :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting:
Lost again today, but going to the game was great. I was in the bleachers. We heckled Bill Hall all game, we yelled at the fans in left field, cursed St. Louis. It was good.
Probably a stupid question, but what the hell is up with Right Field at Wrigley, didn't it always used to have the Ivy over it and I see on Sportscenter this year it's like they tore it all down.
There is no ivy on the walls at all. It's like this every year. The ivy doesn't grow until May, June. The ivy covers the entire outfield wall.

I think it's the way the ivy grows, that it takes time to grow. It's actually starting to grow, the buds can be seen. And it's like this every year. Also, balls still get stuck in the vines right now. There was one stuck last night. The ivy doesn't trap balls. It's the vines that trap them.
