<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>CINCINNATI (AP) -- Guard Stacy Andrews signed a one-year contract Monday with the Cincinnati Bengals, who had made him one of their restricted free agents.Andrews, a fourth-year player who started three games last season, had drawn interest from the New York Jets. The Jets would have had to give the Bengals a second-round draft pick in compensation if they signed Andrews.A fourth-round draft pick in 2004, Andrews had made a slow transition to the NFL. He played in all 16 games last season and made his first three NFL starts.</div>

Personally, I think the Jets only brought him and Gay in to do early homework on next years Free Agency. Almost legal tampering because they were allowed to talk to the clinets and flood their heads with the numbers they'd be worth on the open market. Plus, the Panic Mode that probably hit the Patriots with Samuel wanting a trade and Gay visiting the Jets must have been priceless as well.
