    Once, I broke my toenail in half and it was bleeding pretty badly (had to remove the broken nail off by hand too) but the sock insides really absorbed the blood before I took off the sock, not much could be seen from the outside of the sock.For blood to soak through clothing, especially something designed like a sock where the insides are thicker that a shirt, it has to be quite a lot of blood.But I think Schilling really could have bled that much. Although the guys comment really does bring speculation. Having your stitches accidentally ripped out after they were just sewed on hurts like shit.

    They just showed this on BBTN, they showed both images, the first one was game 6 of the ALCS, the 2nd one was the World Series
