im happy with the draft so far for the Jets..I love Revis and am liking what Ive been reading about David HArris. We need to trade McCAriens, Barton and/or Barrett for some 4th and 5th rounders. Jets have had an amazing history in the 4th round recently (Cotcherry, Rhodes) and hopefully we can pick up some 3-4 OLB/DE and maybe a WR.

Round 1: Ben Grubbs, OG, Auburn - A+I've done more research on him and watched the few highlights there are. He's a player that could really be a force in the league. He's strong but also is athletic. He's can push people downfield but also pull and block on a swing play. He should be a mainstay on the line for the rest of his career at guard.Round 3: Yamon Figurs, KR/PR/WR, Kansas St. - A-This pick really caught me off guard. I wanted different players but Figurs is a guy that can be the Hester of the AFC. His speed is simply amazing and scouts were raving about his ability to read the blocking on returns. Fumbles may be a concern according to the paper but his speed is simply amazing. We drafted him, anticipating that BJ Sams would leave during FA AND get suspended for drunk driving. Remember Jermaine Lewis and Dante Hall?Round 3: Marshal Yanda, OT, Iowa - BWith the players still on the board, I think we reached just a little for Yanda. That being said, he is a solid player and quite possibly could be the starting RT when Ogden retires (Terry moving left). Either way, we'll at least have some depth at the o-line after last season, we had both of our guards and a tackle go down for a lot of weeks.Overall 1st day: A-... 3 years from now, knowing Newsome's history, could be an A+
Darrelle Revis - Fills our desperate CB need greatly.David Harris - Solidifies the interior of our Linebacking corps.Thomas Jones - Completely upgrades our running game and overall offense.B+ I would have liked to have seen us get a day one O-lineman as well.
1st Round: DE Jamaal Anderson: AI think this draft pick was a very smart one. With Patrick Kerney's ass out of the door, we needed someone to compliment John Abraham and replace Patrick Kerney. Jamaal Anderson was the best player on the board when the Falcons drafted. I would of rather had Levi Brown, but considering the fact that he was drafted fifth overall, I was happy that we settled with the best player on the board for us. I wouldn't of minded if the Falcons traded down and drafted Reggie Nelson either.2nd Round: OG Justin Blalock: AI loved this pick. Justin Blalock is the perfect guard for Atlanta. I was predicting that Blalock would go first than Sears, but I am happy that Sears was drafted first because IMO, Blalock is better than Sears. Blalock is more of a guard, unlike Sears, who's morel ke a tackle, but I think that the Falcons need a guard more than a tackle. It's interesting to see how good Vick gets when we get him one of the best offensivel linemen in the draft.2nd Round: CB Chris Houston: B+I'm surprised that Chris Houston fell to us. Right when I saw the Falcons had traded up, I had an almost guaranteed feeling that we would draft Chris Houston. It was clear that there were no more defensive backs that would benefit us more than Houston. It looks like Jimmy Williams will have to transfer to the safety position, even if he didn't want to. The fact that Williams was forced to change his position shows exactly how big Houston's potential is. I'm very happy with this pick, and I hope that Williams transfers to safety very well.3rd Round: WR Laurent Robinson: C+I'm not really sure of what to think of this draft pick. It seems like drafted Laurent Robinson because we needed someone to run routes well and catch all the catchable passes. However, what troubles me the most is that if we wanted to get a receiver like that, we should of drafted someone like David Ball who was available at that time. I just think that this pick was too early. I just hope that Atlanta knows what they're doing when they draft someone like Robinson so high in the draft. I projected Robinson to be drafted around Round 5.<span style="color:red">Overall Grade: A</span>The first day was very succesful. We filled a lot of our needs when we got Jamaal Anderson and Justin Blalock. Most importantly, we drafted three people in my Top 30 positional rankings (Jamaal Anderson, Justin Blalock, and Chris Houston). I loved all of Atlanta's picks besides Laurent Robinson. Anderson, Blalock, and Houston's futures all look bright in Atlanta.I just wish that the second day of draft was as succesful as our first day. It doesn't look like it is though...

Well here's my take on the Redskins whole draft.6. LaRon landry - A+Landry was considered a top 3 prospect in almost everyone's list. He was by far the best defender (though his impact may not be as big as a DE's). No question here the Redskins' biggest need was defensive line (either a DE and move Daniels to DT to share time with Golston/Salave'a, or a DT and then have a great run-stopping line). But Landry was just to hard to pass up on, even with Okoye and Anderson still available. The Redskins did the right thing and filled our 3rd biggest need; safety. This was a pick that the Redskins would've done even if we had someone like Sanders or Reed along with Taylor. You know a player is good when you draft him at 6 overall, and not having that position as a major need, and also with teams trying to trade up but you refuse to trade. Landry was the 4th fastest player in the draft, and he's a safety. No offense will even think about calling a cross route in Washington with Taylor and Landry waiting. Landry is also a terrific pass-rusher. The thing I really love about him though is his atiitude.143. Dallas Sartz - C+I was a little surprised with this pick, because of guys like Brandon Siler still on the board, and because we didn't really need a LB (especially one that's a project). I thought we would get K Mason Crosby here. But, Sartz most definitely defines character and is a great athlete. He will be a wonderful special-teamer for us and a great situational OLB.179. HB Blades - B-Again, I was a little surpised for the same reasons as above. We didn't need a LB that bad and there were still good linemen available, along with Crosby. But Blades is one heck of a football player and once Fletcher calls it quits in four/five years, Blades has a good chance of starting for us for years to come. He doesn't use his strength well, nor does he tackle too well, but he has excellent awareness. He can be a game-changer.205. Jordan Palmer - C+Sure, we need depth at QB... but we only had five picks in the whole entire draft (just one in the irst four rounds). This was unnecessary. I'm sure the Redskins saw something in him that they really liked. He's got all the tools you need, but is very raw. It's always good to have a Palmer backing your quarterback up though.216. Tyle Ecker - CWE NEED DEFENSIVE LINE. I hope the Redskins are thinking about a trade that will re-vamp the line. I liked the idea of getting another TE to compliment Cooley, but only if we had 8+ picks in the draft. And Ecker never had a season with over 20 catches. Obviously that was because of the system he was in (and never had a dropped pass), but still... Oh well, he's a good blocker and most importantly a good guy. Overall - B-We only filled one our holes (safety). We most definitely could've used a DE, DT, or OG. If it wasn't for the Landry pick, I would've gave the Skins draft a C (again, not because we didn't get good players, but because we didn't fill our needs).

I think my Broncos did pretty good. They got Jarvis Moss which will be a huge upgrade at DE. I think they gave up a little too much for him though, but not as bad as everyone says.Crowder looks pretty good at DE as well.Between these 2 and Dumervil Denver looks solid on the Dline.
