I gotta go with Miami here.Miami Rd Sel# Player Pos. Ht. Wt. School 1 9 Ginn Jr., Ted WR 6-0 180 Ohio State 2 40 Beck, John QB 6-2 216 Brigham Young 2 60 Satele, Samson C 6-2 311 Hawaii 3 71 Booker, Lorenzo RB 5-10 193 Florida State Ted Ginn simply isn't a Top 10 talent, he's extremely raw, not a great route runner, so-so hands, ect. Then they went and took John Beck (Who will be 26 next season), over Drew Stanton and Trent Edwards. Assumeing Beck doesn't start from Day 1, he could very well be 27 or 28 years old by the time he starts his first NFL game. They followed that up with a solid pick in Satele, but then they took a Runningback in Booker who simply isn't a need in a backfield that includes Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams.

Just because they reached on Kolb? Plenty of other teams made much worse reaches, Kolb arguably wasn't going to be there with our next pick and despite what I or any other fans think, the FO seems to love him.Other than that, we stole Abiamiri, we stole Bradley, and Hunt will play a great role in this offense. No DBs which is definitely a problem, but there are still a few solid ones on the board and I wouldnt be surprised to see us trade up into the 4th for John Wendling or Fred Bennett. Not a chance in HELL we had the WORST day one today.

The second 2nd rounder, yeah most likely, but I'm not unhappy with Abiamiri.HORRIBLE day for the Eagles? No. Bad second round pick, yes. But we hit the nail on the head 3/4 times, made a great trade, and put ourselves in good position tomorrow to move up into the early-mid fourth and grab someone who slipped through the cracks today. Just like we did last year picking Avant and Jean-Gilles.It's just funny how every year we enter the season hearing "Will McNabb hold up? Will McNabb choke?" from everyone, and when we go out and add tons of security people criticise more. I'm not saying I agree with the pick with certain other players on the board, but I do like Kolb and understand where they're going, even though I think McNabb isn't at the point where we need to start developing someone long-term..Guess it just means he wont be retiring here... :whistling:
Miami had the worst day one, that's for sure. I was like 99% sure that they will pick Quinn but wow, they picked Ginn

Was New England's good? They came into the day with 2 firsts and a 3rd.Came away with Brandon Meriweather, Randy Moss, and a future 1st round pick.
I think the Colts are having one of the shittiest overall drafts. No defensive starters drafted despite losing Doss, Harper, June, David...They did get some wideouts and a tackle though. Not going to help the repeat chances though.
The Colts got Damyeon Hughes, at the end of the 3rd round, so, potentially could end up being a steal. He could come in and start right away. They got Pintock, and they drafted a few other defensive players, they are going to be fine.

Love the Ugoh pick, they have to address the line sometime early in the draft and he's a potential LT of the future. Gonzalez obviously was a need for them in the slot.Their need at OLB is completely overblown. Keiaho, Morris, Gardner and Boiman are going to be competing to start at two spots, and you figure Morris and Keiaho will win those battles with Boiman and Gardner backing up. Not OVERLY impressive, but they needed OL, WR, DT and CB more and those were their first four picks.EDIT: And I just heard Mort say they got Michael Coe which I must have missed. I had them taking him in the third.
Keiaho, Morris, Gardner, and Boiman cannot makeup for the loss of June. A sure tackler like Posluszny would have really helped them. I don't think DT is a need at all. Simon (they could simply restructure instead of cutting), McFarland, Brock, they're set at DT for the next 3 years at least. It's possible that Hughes can make up for the loss of Harper but rookie CB shouldn't start at one of the 2 CB positions. Plus the 4.65 speed has got to concern them when playing the cover 2. They might have to play their safeties deeper than they want.I guess Gonzalez does fill a need but I think Posluszny would have been a better pick.

Tim Jennings will give him a run for his money anyway.
