Someone has to explain this to me. How is it the Pats did "well" this weekend? They had 2 first round picks. They used one to take the 3rd (in my opinion) best Safety. They traded the other for a 1st round pick next year and a 2nd day pick. So next to nothing. They then traded their 3rd round pick for next to nothing as well. They traded a 4th round pick for a 1 year, 30 year old, 5 million dollar WR who doesn't upgrade the offense that much. They didn't address their CB issue. Samuel still wants out, and will be out by next year at the latest. Do they plan to roll with two rookie corners next year? But hey, they got a nice Safety and have a lot of draft picks next year. So how is this an A+ draft?

Maybe they'll switch Meriweather to corner. Either way I didnt think their draft was all that, definitely not an A.

Either Meriweather or Eugene Wilson can play corner this year. The picks they acquired for next year are sure to be used to address their needs at corner once Samuel leaves and ILB.
