Even though A-Rod is going to surpass what Bonds does assuming he does not get hit with a rash of injuries like Griffey, this is still going to be a horrible day in baseball when Bonds hits 756

whether you like it or not, its good for baseball, because now people are watching baseball, attendance is up everywhere when Bonds is in town, as statistics prove, cause everyone wants to boo and SEE HIM HIT A HR.just get over it, its going to happen, and just keep crying. if he was on your team, youd be celebrating, and id be booing you, but, just get over it.

Everyone goes to the park to watch them perform and then boo them. But everyone wants to watch them.

Of course it doesn't. I'd expect a better argument from you.The rest of the time he is changing the image of baseball to the average fan to that of a bunch of cheaters roiding up in the clubhouse, and I know quite a few people who now refuse to attend any baseball game because they feel they would be supporting cheaters like Bonds by doing so. The money that Bonds brings in is only lost elsewheres in greater numbers, but not necessairily for the Giants, but for every other team in baseball. Yet that is somehow good for baseball?
