Why don't we just give NE the title? I mean everyone in the media is thanks to them getting 2 over rated WRs. Seriously how can The Broncos have had a worse offseason then the Raiders? They got a QB yeah big deal. Russel is gonna spend 75% of the season on his back cause of their o-line or lack thereof.Broncos easily had the best off season if you're talking about roster. If you're not they had the worst losing Nash and D-Will.RIP

Giants 30th is the big surprise to me. I know they aren't great, but I think they have enough overall talent to win a few games.
uh, i havent read the article yet, im just replying to TCOF, no way should the broncos be granted with #1 off-season...

Will he be a decent CB2 for you guys? Sure, but he is turning 30 this month and really isn't the same player he once was.- Travis Henry is a good runningback, but he's not made a single Pro Bowl to date, and likely won't in Denver either. He would need 1500 yards to get consideration, and he won't get that in Denver because no runningback has gotten 300 carries in a season since Terrell Davis was there. Good Runningback? Sure. 'Potential Pro-Bowl Runningback'? Cmon, be realistic.- Daniel Graham is a good blocking Tight End, but hardly best in the NFL. Guys like Anthony Becht and Dan Campbell come to mind there.- What exactly did they do that 'Solidified their Offensive Line?' Ryan Harris sucks, and Montrae Holland is nothing more then depth. - I don't see how you can downplay someone's Character Issues when they got him kicked off his college team because of multiple drug violations, missing curfew, and leaving town without permission. While none of the issues may be major in itself, it shows a track record of incidents and insubordination when he directly went against Coach Meyer's rules.- 'Good, Experianced SAM in Warrick Holdman'.....I'll let Redskins fans tell you how that one couldn't be further from the truth. - 'who will make our defence compete with Baltimore and chicago for best in the league.' With a Defensive Line dependant on 3 rookies to make it decent, and a Linebacking core without Al Wilson (Who if you think Holdman can even hold his jockstrap you are sadly mistaken), I don't see it. As for San Francisco- At least Bly has made the Pro-Bowl Twice, you can't say that Clements ever has. Him being the highest paid Defensive Player in the NFL is a joke and we both know it. - Once again, Michael Lewis hasn't made the Pro-Bowl since 2004, nor has he played at close to a Pro Bowl level in the two seasons since. In fact, he was benched last season....and I could go on if you gave me more ammunition. But at the same time ripping people like Ashlie Lelie and Tully Canta-Play is just too easy. lolWith the way you guys are overrating these guys, you'd think you're both going 16-0.
Clements > Bly? Haha that is a good one.Bly didn't make the Pro Bowl cause no one votes for Lions players. And right it down, Henry will get at least 1600 yards rushing this year. Bank on that.

I figured we wouldn't be ranked that high.Made a good move in getting Willis McGahee but it's remain to be seen whether Adam Terry fills in nicely at RT and whether Jarret Johnson fills in well enough for Adalius Thomas. I think Grubbs is an upgrade over Mulitalo, who had a devastating injury last season. I think Figurs will do nicely, at least better than BJ Sams who was extremely inconsistent last season. With McNair having a full TC and OTAs and etc, the offense should be performing at a better gear than last season along with having a legit RB threat.I don't see why we can't win the AFC North again. Pittsburgh didn't get much better talent wise and Cincy is out with Henry for 8 weeks and didn't improve their D. And Cleveland is still a few years away from competing... if their picks pan out.

As for Micheal Lewis, the Eagles got vrusterated with his lack of coverage last year, and was even benched a couple times. And overpaying for a cornerback wasnt very smart. He is making some 20 mil more than champ bailey, and Clements isnt even in champs league. In reguards to the draft, Shanny did NOT want Willis. In an interview he said his targeted players were Justin Harrell, Lawrence Timmons, and Jarvis moss. I agree with you however the niners had the best draft, however.

Bly excells at man-to-man, which the Broncos will be runing this year. Look at the teams Travis Henry has played with. The Bills and Titans, both of whom have horrible lines. Add the fact he was fighting for playing time with either Willis McGahee, or Chris Brown and LenDale white, and still managed to have a couple 1300 yard seasons speaks a lot. Especially when you take into consideration Last year when he ran for 1300 yards and 7 TDs behind the titans porous line that had Vince young constantly on the run. And he missed 2 games. Many coaches will tell you it was Henry, not Vince Young that carried that team into the playoffs.Yes, Daniel Graham is the best blocking tight end in the league. There have been lots of articles about hi since joining Denver about it. Our offenseive line will be better this year, because not only are we getting Lepsis back healthy, Eric pears has valuable experience, and will be better at right tackle. And you thinking Ryan Harris sucks is an oppinion. Soon after the draft an article came out about how he had been playing with a bad back since the beginning of the college season, even though some doctors told him he shouldnt have payed at all. I agree with you a little about the character issues, but its better to learn that you cant get away with it in college than when you have lots of money in the pros. I am confident they will not be a problem. And I never said that warrick Holdman was a pro-bowler or anything, but he is an experienced veteran. And if he doesnt work out, we have other players that can step in, such as Nate Webster or D.D. Lewis.Add in the fact we have a quarterback that working as hard as anyone to get better, and Rod Smith gotsurgery on his hip that had been bothering him the last 3 years(Including his pro-bowl year), and our safetys are coming along well from recovering from injuries. And we even got better on special teams, with suarbrun back, and Domenik Hixon healthy. Im not going to say im not a little biased, but top to bottom there are very little holes on this team, if everyone pays our caoching staff feels they will.So I guess we will wat and see this upcoming season.

Travis Henry is not that good whatsoever.Graham was a decent signing but he's also overhyped.Stokley is a good 4th or slot receiver but he definitely benefited from playing with Harrison, Wayne, and Manning. That first round DT talent is a complete thug. The vikings ripped you off in that trade by trading a 4th rounder for a 3rd next year (wtf? higher pick...) and two 7ths. I mean.. this guy wasn't even allowed at his own teams pro day because they were afraid he would pull something. That shows some issues. The Broncos should be all right but you can't say that their offseason was better than the pats.. They had a top 10 offseason but definitely not #1.

If he had the extra 100 carries, he would have had 1650 yards last season. That is very good. And yes, Daniel Graham IS one of the best blocking tight ends in the league. And he isnt speedy receiver. Get your facts right. And yes it will. He had a torn labrum, frayed cartilage, bone spurs, and floating fragments in his hip, even during the his pro bowl season. The will be much more productive, now that he is finally healthy for the first time in 3 years. And as for D.D. Lewis, he was the starting OLB for the Seahawks super bowl team. Nate webster is a former starting MLB for the Bengals, and is very fast and athletic. Domenik Hixon is a KR/PR that was hurt last year, but at the combine ran a sub 4.4 with a broken foot.
