<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>ATHENS, Ga. --- University of Georgia senior cornerback Paul Oliver has failed to meet NCAA academic eligibility requirements for competition this fall and plans to petition the NFL for entry into the supplemental draft this summer.Oliver?s situation does not preclude him from remaining enrolled in school. He was a regular starter last season and has started 15 games in his career.?We?ll miss him for sure,? UGA head coach Mark Richt. ?Of course, he could have made a decision to leave for the draft immediately after his junior season. He was aware there could be risks but he decided to continue in school and get closer to his degree. His best opportunity now to continue his playing career is through the supplemental draft coming up in July.?</div>http://www.georgiadogs.com/ViewArticle.dbm...p;ATCLID=897217I wouldn't mind if the Rams took him in the 2nd or 3rd maybe. He owned Calvin Johnson in the buttox when they played (2 catches, 13 yards).

Im sure the academic suspension would knock him down to the 2nd or 3rd round of the Supplemental draft though.

I really hope the Ravens use their supplemental for this guy. We could use a top flight CB to be ready to take over for Samari and Chris soon alongside Pittman.

I'd not be upset if the Jets gave up their future 2nd for the guy. It's going to be a late 2nd anyway, and he'd be worth that. But with my luck, the Pats will bid a 3rd round on him and be the highest and steal him away, further bringing them into the pit of bad character but high talent.... and be championed by every single analyst in America again.
