<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>KIRKLAND, Wash. (June 5, 2007) -- Just as he expected, Matt Hasselbeck was a cheerleader during the Seattle Seahawks' first day of minicamp."Good start!" yelled the quarterback who is recovering from surgery on his non-throwing shoulder, clapping his hands after a short pass completion on the first play of a drill. Then he slapped the hands of each player in the offense's huddle. What Hasselbeck did not expect was that the pass he was cheering was his own. And the huddle was his, not backup Seneca Wallace's.</div>http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/SEA/10213397Like Roethlisberger, I expect Hasselbeck to bounce back in a big way this season. He had a tough time with injuries last year (which Seahawk didn't?) but I expect he'll be back to his normal 3500 yards passing, 20 something TD's, and the INT's should be down as well.
I too think he will have a good season, I think hes among the league's best QBs coming into this season and probably will put up Pro Bowl #'s
Hasselbeck's a punk. He cancelled going to Seahawks day at the golf club I'm a member of. Normally a bunch of Seahawks pair up in twosomes with two members. (IE Josh Brown and Shaun Alexander would play with two members of the club). He's the third Seahawk to back out of the commitment so far. This is my first year as a member of the club, but apparently Josh Brown has the reputation of having an odd swing but actually being a pretty good golfer. The other two to back out wer Marcus Tubbs and Marcus Trufant. (Not all Seahawks committed in the first place though).Bunch of doucebags!
The Seahawks are my early pick for the Super Bowl from the NFC. I feel like they were probably the best team last year, but due to a bunch of injuries they had their year ended too early. I think when everyone is 100% that they would take out the Bears and the rest of the NFC, like they did the other year.
