Well if he's been taking them since 2003 or before, which is very likely, then he should have noticed it wasn't going to happen.
How about he needs something to hold off the kids fresh out of College? NFL Minimum Wage is still about 300 Grand a year, much more then he'd probably make elsewheres.
Yea, which is why he should have figured out he wasn't going to make much more than he was already or start for that matter. Why take steroids when you can make that much a year doing nothing, but training with the team and practicing?
