Did any of you go (there was one in NYC) or watch the concert?They got some good and artists to play around the world. They all did great jobs too. Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Police, Rihanna, Kanye West, Linkin Park, Corinne Bailey Rae, Metallica, Madonna, Spinal Tap, Bon Jovi, John Mayer, Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg, Xzihbit, Shakira... and a lot more including foreign artists. Of course all in different cities around the world. The U.S. got a pretty mediocre lineup performance wise. I thought the UK (go figure) for the best lineup. Japan 2nd best. The one in DC absolutely sucked but it was planned late so I wasn't expecting much. Overall though, I thought it was better than the Live 8 concert series.The tidbits they showed on TV were pretty interesting too. Like the various numbers about carbon dioxide emissions.
