<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Jared Gaither-T-Ravens Jul. 12 - 2:04 pm et Ravens selected Maryland OT Jared Gaither in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Supplemental Draft.Gaither fits perfectly as a developmental player for the Ravens. He has left tackle-type upside and should work behind Jonathan Ogden as a rookie.Source: Profootballtalk.com Paul Oliver-DB-Chargers Jul. 12 - 1:51 pm et Chargers selected Georgia CB Paul Oliver in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Supplemental Draft. This is probably a clear sign that the Bolts will allow Drayton Florence to play out his walk year and test the free agent market in 2008. Oliver is a physical corner with only marginal speed and size. As a rookie, he'll likely compete with Cletis Gordon and Steve Gregory to be the Bolts' dime back.</div>Everyone else is expected to through to UDFA.

I wish the Rams would have gotten Oliver [IMG]. Then again, he wouldn't develop as well since we already have 4-5 mediocre (right now) cornerbacks.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GAITHER TO THE RAVENS!!!! And I was worried that we'd have to give up higher a higher pick to get him. Local kid gets to play for the local team. His size should make him the perfect understudy for Jon Ogden. He might or might not pan out but for a 5th round pick for what could have been a higher round talent, I think it's completely worth it. Either way, he's a good pass blocker (didn't give up 1 in an entire season).Kinda surprised that Oliver got drafted by the Bolts though. Quite a few teams could use him. And to pay just a 4th for what some thought was possible 1st round talent in a steal.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (ESPN)</div><div class='quotemain'>Meanwhile, Mark Washington, a versatile defensive end/linebacker from Texas State, agreed to a two-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers after being bypassed in the supplemental draft. Washington ran in the 4.6-second range in the 40-yard dash during workouts in front of NFL teams, but he was a little slower Tuesday when he worked out. Because Washington weighed in the 250-pound range, teams had to decide if they wanted him at defensive end or linebacker. The 49ers wanted him at linebacker and believe he has the ability and size to challenge for a position as a strongside outside linebacker.</div>I think we got a guy right here to be on our practice squad this year.
