Some songs don't show up under the artist name...For example, I have like maybe 10 songs by Poison. On my iPod, only one of the songs shows up. In my iTunes, everything looks perfect and it's all neat, but it won't show up under Artist on my iPod. I can only play the songs if I do Shuffle Songs lol. It's really annoying. :(Help! [IMG]

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Brooksie5 @ Jul 18 2007, 04:00 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Get a Zune? They are sweeter.</div>^That or reset you're iPod to factory setting. Then try it again. Doesn't work after that, then bring it to an Apple store.

If you delete stuff on your iPod alot or have had it for more than a year, try this. It basically re-organizes your iPod so your data isn't scattered and deleted pieces aaren't still hanging on the hard drive. I must warn you, it heats up your iPod a lot cause of the work it puts it through but the end product is great. Plus it takes a good, 3-4 hours if you have 20 GB of data like me.Go to Start -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Defragmentor And just select your iPod from the list of available drives. If it's not there, go to iTunes and make sure that on the front page of the iPod in iTunes, the last check is checked.

Not sure how to help your problem. If I had to take a guess I'd say something is messed up in your iTunes itself, try making sure you have the up to date version of iTunes and double check to make sure all your information is put in and correct (Including checking the Spelling because a misplaced capital letter or extra space where it doesn't belong can mess it up), then manually tell it to update the iPod.

Or you go to your iPod updater and update the software. That could also be the problem.
