After dropping the series opener, the Athletics have won thelast two contests. There will be a pair of All-Stars on the mound as Oakland startsDan Haren (13-3, 2.42 ERA) and the Angels counter with JohnLackey (13-3, 3.07). They both are trying to join CarlosZambrano and C.C. Sabathia as 14-game winners. Haren has won three straight starts for the fourth time thisseason. He has not won four consecutive outings since asix-game run from July 26-August 21, 2006. Haren is 3-5 with a 4.05 ERA in nine career starts against theAngels. Lackey posted his first shutout in over a year when he held theSeattle Mariners to seven hits in an 8-0 victory on Tuesday.
