AL: BOSTON (68-43) at LA ANGELS (64-46) <h3>Schilling comes off DL to start against Angels</h3> <div class="pre">Boston (68-43) at La Angels (64-46) 10:05 pm EDT</div> ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- Curt Schilling returns to therotation Monday as the Boston Red Sox open a three-game seriesagainst the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Schilling has missed nearly two months with tendinitis in hisright shoulder after being placed on the disabled list on June19. In three rehab starts at Class AAA Pawtucket, Schilling wasoutstanding as he worked 15 scoreless innings, striking out 18without a walk. Schilling has to be happy he is returning to face the Angelssince he is 5-1 with a 2.79 ERA lifetime against them. Boston opened its nine-game road trip over the weekend by takingtwo of three contests from Seattle. The Red Sox, who have wonseven of their last 10 games, hold a seven-game lead over theNew York Yankees in the American League East Division. Even though they are a mediocre 11-11 since the All-Star break,the Angels hold a 3 1/2-game lead over Seattle in the AL West. The Angels turn to Jered Weaver (7-5, 4.00 ERA), who is comingoff his worst start of the season. The righthander gave up sixruns and a season-high 12 hits over six innings in losing toSeattle on Wednesday. Weaver went 0-1 with a 2.84 ERA against the Red Sox as a rookiein 2006. He has not faced them this season.
