I guess this is how the other GMs feel when somebody fleeces Isiah or McHale.

Realistic in a sense, but kind of cheap.
Why would you trade a 5th and 12th for an 8th and 9th???????
I felt like it was a good move.
How? Higher picks have more value, and you move down 3 rounds and gain 3 rounds. Even by that logic, you'd break even, but you are losing 3 rounds on a 5th rounder, or a starter, for a 8th or 9th man.

    That makes no sense.
I still have my 3rd,4th,6th, two 7ths, and two 8ths
You moved from the 5th to the 8th round in return for moving from the 12th to the 9th round.

You obviously didn't think things through before agreeing to that.

    (At least I hope not...)

Whats so great about my team was the action of fiscal responsibility I took.

I have 18.9 on the books now. Even with Gordon's looming extension, when your Allen Iverson, Baron Davis, Jermaine O'neal, Vince Carter, Ron Artest, Tim Duncan, and Gilbert Arenas go to free agency, I will have the capspace to sign about two of them.

    PG-Ben GordonSG-Kevin DurantSF-Ron ArtestPF-Tim DuncanC- Tyson Chandler

That has championship written all over it.

Yeah, I didn't really think it through that much. I just looked at it and thought it was a good deal, but I guess it wasn't that great...

Next time I plan on thinking a little more

That has no bearing on anything. Free agency has no relevance.

    Don't worry!

    1. GK6 will probably go to hell for what he did.

    2. It's not like cpawfan would have done any better. (''I select Nick Van Exel!'')

Cpaw would have taken Danny Fortson for his 6 fouls in 15 minutes.

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon those with great vengeance and with furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know that my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

Obviously we can't do this for everyone involved.

But for those with XBOX 360's. We should go on XBOX Live and start a league with our teams in NBA 2k8.

Damn, I was hoping Sheed would have dropped down to me. A JO/Sheed frontcourt would have been nasty defensively. :<

GMJIGGA, do ya have AIM? Maybe we can discuss a deal....
