I've got a player in mind, and I'm scared to death ghoti is going to take him.

    You can rest easy.

I wasn't interested in a SG this pick. I have two guys who can play there and a starting PF that is only good for 25 MPG max.

I was going to take Scola if he was on board with my next pick. He's a great pick this late in the thing.

I'm very happy that Bobby Simmons fell to me. Probably flying under the radar, cause injuries killed him last season, and he had an off year after signing a big contract the year before. I figure this is about the time he really picks up and starts playing hard again. He's a good, tough defensive player, and he's great in a role-player type situation.

Best of all, he shoots better than 40% from 3 point range. I figure that between him, Barbosa and Battier, someone's going to be open when Jefferson gets doubled on the block.

Simmions and K-Mart are both good picks at this point in the draft IMO. They both fell because of their injuries so it's high risk, high reward.

I have enough picks in the next three rounds that I can still get two morequality backup bigs. If K-Mart goes down, it will hurt my team but not kill it. My two starting bigs right now are young and play lots of minutes. Howard is only 21 and averaged 37 minutes a game last season (although that's a bit much probably, the fact is he can play lots of minutes). ZaZa is 23 and averaged 28 minutes a game last season. If Howard can play center for Team USA, he can do it for my team too.

If Anderson Varejao can bring energy off the bench, what would K-Mart bring?

I thought KMart was gonna be there for my next pick in the bottom of the 7th round. DAMNIT!

Also like both the Simmons and Kenyon picks- I'm (obviously) optimistic in terms of players coming back from injuries. Amare and Kidd are good examples of why.

I'm pretty confident my player will. I don't think that's a good sign.

hm. it was a tough choice, but i went with a pretty good (yet injury-prone) point guard.

Just looking there is no use drafting a point guard for my team. The only guy I could see being a better point guard than Gordon, won't be playing in the NBA next year, or possibly ever again.

I think I know the general direction I want my team to take, but am not going to commit to anything yet. I know who my next 6 players for my team would be if I could get anyone I want...and they may end up all available....but in conclusion...HURRY UP AND PICK PEOPLE!
