Thoughts on my bench so far?

Larry Hughes, Ime Udoka, Joe Smith, Joel Przybilla?

i like 'em. hughes did pretty good with arenas, although injuries hurt him, he probably wouldn't be such a bad backup.

seems like a good combination of good offensive players and defensive players.

I like the Hump, Kleiza, and Khryapa picks this late; all good value.

Hump should settle in as a (slightly poorer) David Lee type in the league. He's not skilled outside of 10 feet, but he's a bull under the hoop.

Kleiza is a hot/cold guy, but he's a valuable combo F to have on the bench; interesting player. I like his intensity; plays hard. Nice to have bigs that can shoot the 3.

I think Khryapa is a little underrated. He's not a scorer, but he's a pretty competent defensive/complementary guy. Hustles, very good rebounder, gets a lot of steals.

Huge thanks to GM3 and the other global mods from me for keeping things moving and web pages updated.

Family issues, work and then the merger took a lot of my time over the past couple of weeks.

Will do thanks for the advice. Anyone who has a good offensive player everyone but LeBron and Roy are tradable

QUOTE (peg182)

QUOTE (tim)

Thanks, fixed how does my team look so far?

    PG-L Ridnour/ B Knight

    SG- B Roy/T Hassell

SF- LeBron/ to be named later

PF- J Green (he does play the 4)/ C Smith

    C- Z Ilgauskas/ D Mutumbo

i like the mutumbo pick. he proved he could still play last season.

all those bench players are pretty good, but...there isn't much scoring on your team, other than Lebron. may i offer some advice, and say that it'd be a good idea to pick up a solid offensive player...there's still at least 1 in the draft who can play 2/3.

I like the Elson pick. He's a solid rotation big man and there are very, very few left. He is better than several who were already taken.

Your team is built logically and should be a nice playoff team. You have a lot of versitility and the players are solid citizens (one notable exception, but he's a dogged competitor). I would like to watch and root for this team. There are two very big problems, however.

    1. There is a lot of age and several injury concerns.

    2. This team has very little to build on for the future, and it isn't good enough to win a title now. That's a bad situation.

I like the Turaif pick. I was really close between him and Najera (and one other guy), but I'm just not sure he's ever going to be more than a cheerleader.

There is some decent youth in the front court, but picking some young back court players might not be a bad idea.

What youth? I just see Millsap.

He's a terrific role player, but the ceiling is very low for him.

I almost picked up Elson with my last pick, but I valued Joels shot blocking a little bit more.

If Przybill fell to me, I'd have nabbed him, but I think Petro is a good pick at this point in the draft

Yeah, IMO he would have been the best back up for Wallace at this point. Great pick.

    I hate Petey now too.

I'd be willing to trade two 10th rounders for a decent scoring center.
