i know everyone hates stro, but i just had to pick him. with his great dunks and blocks, and the fact that he's my best friend's favorite player, i just couldn't resist.

IMO he's a lil underrated, def. not starting material, but a pretty good backup big.

Love the Delfino pick. I thought about taking him two rounds earlier, but decided against it. He's going to play very well for Toronto this year.

Brezec was a solid pick, even if it's not flashy. A starter this late in the draft isa good pickup.

Because he's possibly the softest player in the NBA, he can't stay healthy, and he only became a starter because he played for an expansion franchise that was operating on half the salary cap?

Fits right in with Petey's team building strategy.

How about the Petro and Snow picks? I badly needed a backup C and guy who could play alongside either Rip or AI, and I think I found both.

I like both picks, you have a great defensive team. But I am still in the air about the AI/Rip combo.

I like your team too but you don't have a guy that can consistently put 20 points up every night. It is put together pretty well though.

I picked #27 in the 1st round. I don't think I could have done any better than AI at that spot - at least I got a prime time goto scorer. If not Rip, who else could possibly be a good guard to go with him? He doesn't need the ball to score, yet scores plenty, he plays defense, and his size is the perfect balance for AI being so short. It'd be interesting to see who people think would be a better backcourt mate for him...

I have an idea to toss out there.

At the end of this, we should all review our own teams, and pick a head coach and explain how he'd manage the team.

could we use our own head coaches? because personally, i'd rather have adelman on my team..especially with how bonzi played in Sac

I'd say let everyone pick Adelman if they think he's the guy to be coach of their team. Since the draft wasn't 12 players and a coach, there probably isn't a fair way to otherwise assign coaches to the teams.

What do you guys think of my team so far? Personally I'm not too thrilled with Hunter but I figured all I needed was a couple solid roll players after I got Dunleavy and Cassel on my bench. After I draft 2 more power forwards Hunter will be sharing time with them at C/PF spots. I really like Salmons he is extremely versatile, has a high basketball IQ, plays good D and Does a little bit of everything. He can also play 1-4 and I think he's a great guy to back up Mo Pete. What do you guys think?

    C - Ben Wallace/Steven Hunter
    PF - Kevin Garnett
    SF - Rashard Lewis/Mike Dunleavy
    SG - Morris Peterson/John Salmons
    PG - Raymond Felton/Sam Cassel
