Im currently in London where in Earls court the London Beer festival finishes tommorow. Now after chatting to some and realising that Coors lite, Fosters and the like arent blowing us away, what is your normal first choice when it comes to beer? I mean when I can afford the overpriced micro brewery stuff in Perth I get it but normally I settle for Carlsburg, Red Stripe (Jamaica's finest!) or Heineken.
In terms of american beer I do enjoy the millers draft but am not so sold on budwieser. Any thoughts? I know we have some beer drinkers out there... Football fans.... Kidding but anyhow throw in your two cents!

I've never had Red Stripe, but I want to try it, because the commercials are so silly.
Especially this one.

you just wanna get drunk? man the 9% beers in the UK are serious... the carlsberg 'elephant' packs a punch too.
Y'all got them in the states?

Not much. If you wanna go cheap and get drunk fast, go with a 40 oz of like Steele Reserve or something. under 2 bucks for 40 oz of like 7%.

Sam Adams is good. If i'm feeling classy though, nothing beats coming home from a rugby game nursing an Olde English 800

The best are the 16 oz. cans of Malt Liquor. My roommates and I used to love gettin them 16 oz cans of Colt 45 & Olde E.

I can barely even drink Olde E though, so syruppy.
