PITTSBURGH (Ticker) -- The Pittsburgh Steelers and Green BayPackers at least can feel good about their respective backupquarterback situations. Aaron Rodgers rallied the Packers to a 13-9 victory over theSteelers in a preseason game Saturday night. Relieving an ineffective Brett Favre, Rodgers guided the Packersto a score on the final drive of the first half, a 32-yardfield goal by Dave Rayner. Green Bay's top pick in 2005, Rodgers moved the Packers down thefield for a 3-yard scoring strike to Carlyle Holiday early inthe third quarter for a 10-9 lead. Favre completed just 2-of-7 for seven yards. Hampered bypenalties, the Packers could not gain a first down in his fourpossessions. Batch came on in relief of Steelers starter Ben Roethlisberger,who played just two series and was 2-for-2 for 14 yards. The 10-year veteran led the Steelers to a pair of scores,connecting on a 41-yard touchdown pass to Walter Young in thefirst quarter and hitting second-year wideout Sanantonio Holmesfor 49 yards to set up Jeff Reed's 27-yard field goal early inthe second quarter for a 9-0 lead. Batch completed 3-of-5 passes for 97 yards and the touchdown. Packers rookie running back Brandon Jackson, seeking to wrestthe starting job from the injured Vernand Morency, rushed forjust 57 yards on 16 carries. But he had just 21 yards on 12carries before gaining the bulk of his yardage against reserves. With running back Willie Parker against sitting with a kneeinjury, Najeh Davenport (34 yards) and Kevan Barlow (25 yards)both ran well for the Steelers.
