QUOTE

Miami Herald - Mark Bartelstein, who represents Heat free agent James Posey, said the forward would likely sign with one of four teams: Cleveland, Golden State, New Orleans or New Jersey, the Miami Herald is reporting.
http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/basketba...ory/169237.html

QUOTE (Petey)

Yeah. I like the new rumor today of both Moore (resigning) and Magloire.
-Petey

Krstic/Collins/Williams
Magloire/Moore/Boone
Jefferson/Nachbar/Adams
Carter/Wright/Hite
Kidd/Williams/FA

I like the looks of that roster, but we would have to cut Ilic. I didn't get to see enough of Hite but everyone is saying he was good and could be a House replacement. Hite and the FA PG would have to come pretty cheep. I don't think Posey would sign for the LLE, I was thinking more like full MLE. But if we do get him I might seriously consider trading Jefferson/Krstic for O'Neal and resigning Moore.

Collins/Moore/Ilic
O'Neal/Boone/Williams
Posey/Nachbar/Adams
Carter/Wright/Hite
Kidd/Williams/FA

I really don't see a weakness in that roster.

The thing that Nets have always lacked was big bodies in the frontline, I don't even mean skilled players just big guys.

Posey would be a eally nice signing... a guy who can come in and be a bulldog on defense to spell either Carter or RJeff and not give a complete drop off if one of them gets hurt.
I'd love to get James Posey, but I don't see him taking less money to come here. I think he's looking for a payday.
