Ken Griffey Jr. drove in two runs and Brandon Phillips addedthree hits and two runs for the Reds, who survived when Cubsrookie Mike Fontenot flied out to the right field wall with arunner on base in the ninth inning.


In the third matchup of the season between the aces, Harang(12-3) easily was the better pitcher on this night. He yieldedfive runs and four hits - three homers - in seven innings with awalk and seven strikeouts.


Harang retired the first 11 batters before giving upback-to-back blasts to Derrek Lee and Aramis Ramirez, who wasplaying in his first game since August 6 because of a sore rightwrist. It also was the first home runs for either Cub thismonth.


Zambrano (14-9) was tagged for 13 hits and six hits in sevenframes. The righthander walked two and did not strike out abatter.
