Which active players are locks to make the HOF regardless of what they do on the court from this point on?

If the voters take into account all he has done for basketball in Africa, his career, and his humanitarianism, I think he gets in.

Shaq, Kobe, Kidd, Nash, KG, Tim Duncan

on the bubble: AI, Dirk (MVP's always get love), Payton, Reggie

Outsiders (based on numbers/current averages); Shawn Marion, Paul Pierce, Deke, Elton Brand (needs to be traded to be taken seriously by the commitee), CWebb, TMac (another david thompson/bernard king/Mitch Richmond?)

Unlucky to miss out; Ben Wallace (no room for Rodman no room for you)

Ive always thought the HOF needed a 'could have been' room. Players limited by injury/mishaps. Larry Johnson (numbers before and after his body fell apart), Grant Hill (see Johnson, Larry), Penny Hardaway ( that damn knee) etc. The guys who only had their excellence limited by injuries.

By the way who is left to go in outta the recently retired?

Pippen? Malone? Stockton? Did Drex get in? other than Barkley and (the inevitable) Jordan who from the 90's is worthy? Admiral? Dream?

Kevin Johnson's 17.9 ppg, 9.1 apg... Joe Dumars 16.1 4.5... wheres the justice?

When Dominique didn't make the first ballot I got a lot less confident in this voting process. That said, retiring today:

Shaq, Kobe, Duncan, Kidd, Paytonare 1st ballot no doubt.

AI and CWebb, KG, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce,Reggie Millerwill eventually get in. I think KG's a 1st balloter but Ithink his lack of titles willwork against him.AI too.

Nash might. My gut says no though.

Shaq, Duncan,Kidd, Kobe, Nash (he hasn't had the total career, but the back to back MVPs get him in I'm assuming), KG, Dirk, AI (the mvp argument again for those last three.).
