The Nets announced Thursday that they have signed Robert Hite to a contract. Hite last played for the Heat and averaged 12.0 points and 5.5 rebounds for the Nets in the Pepsi Pro Summer League this July.

Looks like we're going into training camp with the Big 4 in tact. I think the O'Neal thing will shake out at the deadline and it's all up to whether or not LA gives up Bynum. If they don't, we might be able to get him cheap. Otherwise Indy will just have to eat it.

Did anyone see him at all when he played for the Heat?</p>

Just wondering how he looked in not summer league times.</p>

looks like a good signing. is this that partially guaranteed contract, or a full contract?

Netsdaily is saying it's partially guaranteed. </p>

This is a good signing for the bench. Miami liked him until he was arrested for DUI, which he was cleared off. He was well within the legal limits. Miami gave him time off, then dumped him for Eddie Jones. </p>

    I propose a new slogan:</p>

    "Reaching new Hites... Without pants."</p>

    Or just "Reaching new Hites."</p>
