    BALTIMORE (Ticker) -- The Baltimore Orioles will open a 10-gamehomestand, their longest of the season, on Monday when they hostthe Texas Rangers for a three-game series.


    The Orioles are coming off a six-game road trip in which theywent 3-3 against the New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays.

    Daniel Cabrera (9-12, 4.93 ERA) will be looking for back-to-backwins for just the second time this season when he takes themound for Baltimore. Cabrera last won consecutive games fromMay 5-10. The righthander allowed just two hits and workedaround six walks over 6 2/3 innings in a 12-0 victory over theYankees on Tuesday.


    Cabrera is 1-5 with a 5.73 ERA in seven starts against theRangers during his career.


    Vincente Padilla (3-8, 6.30) will make his second start forTexas since coming off the disabled list on Wednesday. Aftermissing 47 days with a right triceps irritation, Padilla allowedjust one unearned run and four hits over five innings, but didnot factor into a 4-3 win over the Kansas City Royals onWednesday.


    For his career, Padilla is 2-2 in four appearances - threestarts - with a 4.34 ERA against the Orioles.
