this hurts the Falcons so much, they finally got rid of Matt Schaub and showed complete loyalty to Mike Vick this offseason and it came back and bit them in the ass. i cant help but feeling terrible for that franchise right now because now they have to find another franchise QB. They had two solid players at QB at the end of last season, and suddenly all they have now is Joey Harrington

I hear what you're saying but honestly they had to know this was coming. Not this incident in particular but Mike Vick hadn't really been a model citizen up until this point. Some of this has to rest on the owner...better make that much of this. Of course Vick is ultimately in the wrong for what he did.

they werent going to win with Vick, and they couldnt rebuild as long as he was around....this will increase their fall but will allow them to get a jump on the rebuilding process....the best thing for them might be a 2-14 season and the right to pick Brohm

Arthur Blank did not exactly choose wisely when he kicked Mora, Jr to the curb. All that JMJ did was "joke" about his "dream" job

I agree. It's kinda convenient for the Falcons. But I worry about the tickets sold in the next few painful seasons.

There has to be quite a drop off with that...he's the player that most casual fans are going to go to see, and now that he's gone and the team will (likely) not be very good (andadd in the backlash the whole organization is going to feel because of what happened)...the money they're making is going to take a hit.

Seriously? Jim Mora Jr. and Greg Knapp do not deserve to coach in the NFL. They are just not good at their job, at all. And this has nothing to do with Mora's dream job comments.

And knowing what I know today, I think I still might pull the trigger on the Matt Schaub trade.

2 2nd Rounders for a glorified A.J. Feeley? Sign me up.
