"I guess I'm just happy for Tiki that he's making a smooth transition into the media world. It'll be interesting to see if he has anything else to say (about anything) besides the Giants and what his comments will be on that. It's one of those deals; I'm not going to lose any sleep (over) what Tiki has to say. I guess I could have questioned his leadership skills last year with calling out the coach and having articles about him retiring in the middle of the season and (how) he's lost the heart. As a quarterback, you're reading your running back has lost the heart to play the game and it's about the 10th week. Well, I could see that a little bit at times. But I'm not going to get concerned and I'm going to go out there and play ball. </p> "It's just one of those deals. The guy goes to the media and he's got to say stuff. He's been put in a situation where he's got to talk. That's just the way it is. That's the world we live in and you have to deal with it."</p> http://blog.nj.com/ledgergiants/2007/08/el...ne_to_talk.html</p> I honestly think this guy is going to have a great year this year. No more distractions and hopefully no injuries like there were last year.</p> Tiki lost his heart. Strahan lost his heart. Thoe guys can pack it in and stay home. Time for this team to embark on a new era.</p>
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (GMJigga)</div><div class='quotemain'>Who is Eli to make calls on a future HOF? The only place Eli is going to is bust-city</div></p> </p> You're such a Romo-sexual. </p> </p>
I saw Tiki's comments & did not think much of them. </p> So, I guess they could not findEli's blanky nor did he get any juice before his nap. </p>
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (GMJigga)</div><div class='quotemain'>Who is Eli to make calls on a future HOF? The only place Eli is going to is bust-city</div> </p> I thought the Hall of Fame was Bust City. I'm not sold on Tiki Barber being a Hall of Famer. While I'm not really an Eli Manning fan, Barber's constant bad mouthing others is making me tire of him pretty quick. You would think that a RB that had such a horrible fumbling problem would conduct himself with more humility. I just wish he would have landed a spot on The View. It would have suited him betterand I don't watch that show.</p>
I think I have to go with the two Fins fans. One I saw the half time conversation on during the game and have to say "rips" is a pretty strong word for what little Tiki had to say about Eli. However, I think someone that almost ended his career because of fumbling issues might want to keep his mouth a little more in control. As for the HOF if they will let Michael Irving in I think anyone is a valid candidate to allowed in.
Tiki did have the second most yards from scrimmage ever in an NFL season.</p> He's probably HOF worthy.</p> But what he did to his team last season was unacceptable and never should have been allowed.</p> He went from being an honest guy and one of the hardest workers in the league to a raging egomaniac and a complete asshole.</p> It's sad.</p> </p> </p>
Heck yeah, I hadn't even noticed the agreement of Fins fans before the poster above me mentioned it but we're right. Bust city or not, is Dr. Fumbles ever going to talk about his problems on the field?</p> How many times can they show Tiki a highlight of a fumble before he has to say something and goes berzerk.</p> I too think Eli will have a good year.</p>
I'm here to defend Eli. The guy has had a horrible line in front of him, I have never seen someone get blindsided more then Eli last season. (exceptions of David Carr, how is that guy still alive?) Shockey and Burress were constantly hurt last year. Tiki lost his heart mid way through the season. Amani Toomer messed up his knee and was out for the year mid way through. With all that, he threw 48 touchdowns in the last 2 seasons.
Really, I see the total opposite. He has made a lot of mistakes but he always keeps his composure. He also has made some clutch throws and has led the Giants to back to back playoff appearances.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DolfanDale)</div><div class='quotemain'>I thought the Hall of Fame was Bust City.</div> </p> Ugggh! Here we go. Should Kurt Angle have his gold medal bronzed? </p> <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DolfanDale)</div><div class='quotemain'>You would think that a RB that had such a horrible fumbling problem would conduct himself with more humility. So, by week 3, the Bus will have sore hands. </p>
Tiki isn't anywhere near Hall of Fame worthy...and neither is Eli (or will he ever be).</p> Clown shoes.</p>

Its unfair to judge Eli so early but Tiki tore it up that last part of his career. So? What is it?</p> 3 words: Body of Work. Marino IMO would probaly not be enshrined if it were based on the last part of his career.</p> </p>
All Im saying is you can't take a lok at a QB first three years and say, in or out of the HOF? I also am sayiong that Tiki deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, especially because of how his last few years went. I don;t see a contrast in what I am saying?
Barber is not a HOFer. 10K yardsand55 TDsare borderline, he wasn't ever the best RB in the league, only came close one year, he justdoesn't have enoughto tip the scales and get him over the borderline. He'll always be on the bubble I suppose.
