    tim, you haven't heard of position players pitching in blowouts? It's happened quite a few times. If I remember correctly, Jose Conseco threw an inning and threw out his arm.</p>

    yeah, Conseco wrecked his elbow doing it....it happens a few times a year when a team is getting shelled....I remember Mark Grace throwing a few for the Cubs a few years back
