Net broadcaster Tim Capstraw says that the additions of Jamaal Magloire and Sean Williams along with the return of Nenad Krstic and the improvement of Marcus Williams will pay off big for the Nets. "I thought certainly the Nets improved themselves. There�s no doubt about it," writes Capstraw on the Nets' website. The former college coach reserves most of his excitement for Magloire, writing, "He�s a guy that has something to prove".

Magloire's got something to prove because he's coming off three seasons of suckitude!</p>

On the other hand, if Krstic is back in good form, and they have good health from everyone else, I think they could be surprisingly good. The key is really the health. RJeff really wasn't right, as far as I as an outside observer, could see for two years. Obviously losing their only quality big hurt them last year. </p>

 

Capstraw is paid by the Nets. Do you expect him to say anything other than rah rah Nets?
