Lebron is the guy I see the most....Marbury is the best at marketing himself(maybe because no one wants to market him)....
I think Iverson is the bestcase of a guy getting himself marketed. The NBA doesn't embrace him all that much and never did, but his impact is almost unrivaled, and that's all-ime.
Walk into a Steve and Barrys some time....the Starbury collection featuresdozens of shoe designs, shirts, pants, hats....and all that from a player that is mostly a punchline....I believe the sales totals on all that stuff is good too, I know I see a lot of it around town

I think the golden boys are Steve Nash, Duncan, Lebron, and Wade. Sports media just goes ga-ga over them. I hate you Skip Bayless.

I think Lebron is the obvious pick. He's very much picked up the MJ replacement torch Kobe dropped in Colorado.</p> I think an interesting question is who most lives up to the golden boy hype? I've heard a one story that made Lebron sound like a real jerk in person. Maybe they all are... maybe he's a good guy caught at a bad moment... I don't know, but I find it interesting nonetheless. </p>
