Even next years all the free agents will want to come to Boston. Top ones meaning the ones set to make 10+ mill a year. But all the other ones that are serious about winning championships will. </p>
Meh, good for Boston but I don't think this makes them significantly better than they were before the signing or is any turning point where NJ is really sweating Boston now that they added him. 3 plus million for Posey is kinda silly in my opinon and kinda reeks of desperation to fill out that bench IMO. Maybe a change of scenery will help him becaus ethe past couple seasons he's looking like he's wearing down and becoming as much a liability as an asset showing very outward frustration when players he's sent out to guard get the best of him. I'm actually really glad we didn't sign him just so RJ can come out and play without aving to think about a replacement playing behind him continually fueling JO trade rumors until the deadline. Boston's filling out their roster quite nicely but looking forward to next seasons crop of free agents is a bit premature where they will be paying out the ass for any and all talent they acquire. I think this is a nice addition for them as insurance incase Tony has a tough time returning for injury but they bring similar things to the table where it's not adding another dimension to the roster they have now.
